Cravatta in seta jacquard – Vintage pattern
The 10 folds of the textile give shape and body to the tie: they are the soul of it.
It is taken from the family archive, but it has been studied and innovated in the details which make it unique.
The tie is produced from one square, hand-cut in perfect slanting, entirely unsheathed and hemmed with silk.
The uniqueness of our tie is in the details such as…
– the “asoletta” (little buttonhole), finished by hand, keeps closed the folds through a real mother-of-pearl button sewn with a lilium point;
– the crocheted belt loop, typical from our district area;
– the friction, a silk thread that follows and closes the whole tie, which is stuck by two hand-stitched bar tacks to shape her back after the use.
Such details enhance the passion for our craftsmanship and the devotion for our land.
